What do people believe in?
Most people have been taught a certain religious faith or set of values from birth, because it's the religion or philosophy of their family.
As you develop your beliefs, you will devise your own set of standards to live by. You might have ideas about how people got here, what your purpose is in life, and what happens when we die.

You might believe in one, none or several gods. You might follow the work of teachers, prophets, scientists, saints or gurus. You might have indigenous or tribal beliefs. You might describe yourself as a Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Sikh, Mormon, Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist or a Jedi. You might choose another descriptor, like agnostic, humanist, socialist or environmentalist. Or you may feel that your beliefs are so unique you cannot be labelled as anything but yourself.
That's okay.
